Virtual Renovation with Ferguson Build.com
We're thrilled to share a fantastic before-and-after design featuring Build with Ferguson and Build.com! This project focused on transforming the often-overlooked mudroom into a luxurious and functional space, all realized through the latest in CGI technology!
Why a Mudroom Makeover?
The mudroom is often the unsung hero of our homes. It frequently doubles as the entryway, where we kick off our shoes, drop our bags, and transition from the outdoors to the comfort of our living spaces. Thus, it can often become a cluttered catch-all that lacks style and organization. This mudroom transformation story aimed to change all that!
Build with Ferguson is known for high-quality and luxurious home products. Thanks to their easy-to-use website and helpful project visualizer tool, I was able to select from a curated assortment of designer-quality products to fully renovate this mudroom from start to finish. From stylish storage solutions embellished with sleek pulls to timeless lighting and plumbing fixtures, and even a pet-washing station, this before-and-after transformation will be sure to inspire you to rethink your mudroom.

As you can see in the picture above, this space was dark, outdated, and screaming for a makeover. The biggest change we envisioned was it being lighter and more airy upon entering. We also wanted to maximize space and function by removing the doors and replacing them with floor-to-ceiling cabinetry.

Thanks to Build with Ferguson’s wide assortment of highly functional and good-looking products, we were able to give this mudroom the transformation it deserved. We opted for a classic and neutral color palette. This gave the space unity and consistency.

And I can’t forget a signature aesthetic of mine: metallics! I was able to pull in plenty of this by incorporating fixtures and decorative accents in a brushed-brass finish, like the gorgeous hanging pendant by Minka Lavery and Signature Hardware faucet and sink. This added sparkle and shine sprinkled throughout the space ensures this first impression of the home exudes glam.
